PRC CHEAT YANG YIN BEGS THE COURTS TO UNFREEZE HIS MONEY & ASSETS

40 year old PRC national Yang Yin who is currently embroiled in a lawsuit over the $40 million assets of wealthy widow Chung Khin Chun had applied for the unfreezing of his assets under a Mareva injunction.

According to his lawyer Joseph Liow, this application comes after Yang was denied his weekly $3,000 allowance that was previously granted to him.

Yang’s lawyer filed on Monday for the Mareva injunction to be “discharged” unless Madam Hedy Mok, niece of the victim, Madam Chung agrees to pay for Yang’s legal fees.

When asked, Madam Mok’s lawyer Andrew Lee said that he was still consulting his client on this matter.

Yang has been in remand since October last year. He faces more than 300 charges in total, including two criminal breach of trust charges for allegedly misappropriating $1.1 million from Madam Chung.
