ENGLISH FOOTBALL CLUBS BAN SELFIE STICKS FROM THEIR STADIUMS

London duo Tottenham and Arsenal have banned “selfie sticks” from White Hart Lane and the Emirates stadium.

The social media phenomenon has taken hold in England and sees users hold their phones or cameras in a stick to get a better angle for a photo of themselves.

However, Premier League clubs have taken a stance on the prop, insisting that it is not safe to bring into grounds. Tottenham had already banned their use during a match, but have now taken the decision to stop them being allowed in the stadium altogether as revealed by a fan on Twitter.
