WHY SHOULD THE GOVT TELL OUR HOW WE CAN OR CANNOT SPEND OUR MEDISAVE SAVINGS?

According to its letter to the Forum page of the lapdog sheet, The Straits Times, it is doing it as “we hear Singaporeans’ feedback”.

This begs a fundamental question:

Medisave is our hard-earned money and each of us have different medical needs, many of which are not covered under Medisave.

Many dental procedures for instance are excluded and you have to pay out of your own pocket or you put up great pain.

Why do we need a small group of bureaucrats to tell us when we can and cannot use our own money for our own health-related expenditures?
