MAN ARRESTED FOR DAMAGING POLICE NOTICE BOARD IN HOUGANG

A 50-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly damaging a police message board in Hougang.

At about 6.50pm on Oct 26, a member of the public reported that an acylic message board used to display crime prevention advisories was damaged at the lift lobby of a block located near Hougang Avenue 3.

Officers used CCTV footage to determine the identity of the suspect. The suspect was arrested on Wednesday (Nov 5).

Investigations are ongoing. If found guilty, the man faces up to three years’ jail and caning.
