SINGAPORE: Trade on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) has been halted since 2.51pm, according to a notice posted on the SGX.com website.
Phillips Securities posted a message on its POEMS electronic trading website, stating: "Please be informed that we are currently experiencing industry-wide connectivity issue with SGX. Live prices and updates of order status for SGX are affected. Clients are advised not to submit any new orders during this period on SGX downtime. Our Engineers are already looking into this issue.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Phillips Securities had also informed customers through Twitter, posting their first tweet at 2.55pm, Singapore time.
