S’POREAN MADE BIGGEST MISTAKE TO RELOCATE BACK HOME

I am a 50+ years old Singaporean. Not able to get into the local university because PAP said we are not good enough (back then they already planned to reserve places in local university for the foreign students, and kept daft Singaporeans in total darkness, including myself).

End up I went overseas for my degree, and also studied for free for my Masters in Engineering paid by my company in US, which I got my first job in (it’s part of the employee benefits to advance his/her study). After graduated and worked in US for almost 10 years, I made the biggest mistake of my life to come home, because I love my country and my family (I have 8 siblings).

I then married here in Singapore and settled down for the last 15 years. In the last 15 years, I have witnessed this country going downhill after GCT and LHL taken over the leadership.

I am very frustrated and sad particularly for the younger generation. The policies are out to screw Singaporeans even further. I have these words of caution to Singaporeans: Never listen to these politicians. They are out to create policies to benefit themselves and to help them continuously hold power.

They know that Singaporeans with a degree can easily move out of Singapore. And they also know that the FTs that they attract will not serve NS for them. They need soldiers, at least the headcounts to keep Singapore sovereignty intact. Thus, they need a certain number of Singaporeans that are not able to leave Singapore to serve them. This policy of encouraging Singaporeans not to pursue degrees is a very selfish and immoral intention by this govt. Do not fall into their death trap.

HAVING A DEGREE WILL MAKE YOU MARKETABLE, NOT ONLY IN SINGAPORE BUT WORLDWIDE. IT MAKES YOU MOBILE, FLEXIBLE, MOST IMPORTANTLY ABLE TO THINK CRITICALLY, SO THAT WE ARE EDUCATED ENOUGH TO VOTE THEM OUT. VTO COME 2016!!!

Never listen to this govt
