Hello, everyone, sorry, I have been a bit quiet over the past one week as I have also been sick over the past few days. Came down with flu and had to rest on and off.
I’ve also been helping out with a friend, doing some part time work. I’ve learnt some new things and hope to write about my experiences and to share about them later on.
Meanwhile, I hope to put out some new articles soon. I have attended the two forums on CPF organised by NSP and SPP and gotten some feedback from participants on the CPF, and might write about some of the issues.
Is there anything that you would like me to write about? Do drop me a comment or message and I can write about it, if there’s enough information on it.
Being jobless has taught me some things. It has been 2 weeks now, and I have had to make some changes to my life to manage things a bit better.
There are some things which I’ve always believed in – in paying our low-income workers adequately and reducing work hours so as not to tax people’s minds. I’ve also advocated for higher government spending for healthcare.
These past few weeks have thought me many things, which only further affirm this belief. As said, I hope to write more about my experiences, to advocate for a fairer and more equal society for Singapore.
As much as there seems to be a lot of upheaval in my life right now, I do not believe that I should blame anyone for what’s happening. I do believe in forgiving and forgetting, so that we can move ahead to think for a better future.
Thank you for being with me on this road. I do need your guidance in this as well. If you have any ideas on what I can write or do, feel free to share and I will try to see what I can carry out!
