MH370 chief steward’s daughter ecstatic after getting signed Liverpool jersey

PETALING JAYA: The daughter of Andrew Nari, the chief steward of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 was presented a signed Liverpool FC jersey from three fans of the club.

In a Facebook post on Saturday night, Maira Elizabeth Nari uploaded a picture of herself in a Liverpool home kit that contains the signatures of their players and manager.

The jersey also bears the customised name of Andrew Nari with the number one.

“Feeling so blessed! It happened two days or was it just a day before their match against Tottenham Spurs few weeks ago. This shirt flew all the way from Anfield. This gift is truly priceless. Dad, this is for you,” she said in the post.

She also thanked the three Liverpool fans from Malaysia who went through a few obstacles to get the jersey signed.

The three fans had made their way to Liverpool to attend the match against Tottenham Hotspurs on March 30.

“Gonna frame this shirt up. I’m so touched! Dad, I bet you’ll be the happiest person on earth right now. How I wish that you are here, I can imagine how happy you are or you might scream. Hehe. I miss your presence,” she said.

Maira has regularly tweeted about live Liverpool matches, as her father is a hardcore fan of the Merseyside club.

“Daddy, Liverpool is winning the game. Come home, so you can watch the game! You never miss watching the game. It’s your very first time. :’),” she tweeted after Liverpool thrashed rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on March 16.

Her heartfelt tweets have been picked up by the English club and its fans from all over the world.
