SINGAPORE – M1 confirmed a disruption to its mobile phone network this morning (Feb 4), which saw network subscribers in various parts of Singapore unable to send SMSes or make calls via their M1 lines.
“Some of our customers may be experiencing difficulties sending text messages or making voice calls. We are currently rectifying the issue and apologise for the inconvenience,” the telco stated on its Facebook page at about 8.30am.
TODAY readers on social media as well as callers to the MediaCorp Hotline (6822 2268) reported that they have been unable to connect to the network in various locations – including Bukit Batok, Serangoon, Old Airport Road and Alexandra – since around 8am this morning.
However, not all M1 subscribers were affected, with some readers noting no disruption to their network.
M1 has yet to comment on the expected duration of the disruption.
