Yet another case of an upskirt video being taken by a man, who later claimed in his trials that he was stressed at the time. A woman was browsing items at a shop on Orchard Road when he approached her from behind and captured an upskirt video of her using his mobile phone.
30-year-old Junus Tan Jun-Rong was sentenced to two weeks in jail for his crime, after he admitted to one count of insulting the modesty of his victim. On the afternoon of July 12 last year, Tan, who was a personal assistant at an investment company, put his mobile phone under his victim’s skirt a retail shop at Shaw House, and switched on the video recording mode. However, he was caught in the act by the store's employee. A second witness eventually made a police report. But while waiting for the police to arrive, Tan deleted the video from his phone. Police did not find any incriminating photo or video when they checked his phone.
