BEER SPILL ON AYE AFTER ACCIDENT, NO DRUNK DRIVERS INVOLVED

Several hundred cans of beer fell off a truck carrying Carlsberg beer along Clementi Road towards the AYE on Friday morning. This accident blocked off two lanes on the three lane road.

According to eyewitnesses they were probably more than 20 cartons of the beer lying on the road. It is understood that there were no other vehicles involved in the accident, and no one was injured in the accident.

They were also no reports of any motorist stopping to help clear the road of any spilled beer. It is probably too early in the morning to start drinking, and subsequently caught driving the free flow of beer. There were also no reports of any spikes in drivers caught drink driving in Clementi on Friday.
