TERROR IN AUSTRALIA: MAN KILLS ONE, TAKES HOSTAGE AT MELBOURNE APARTMENT

A man shot a Chinese-born Australian to death and took another person hostage at an apartment in Melbourne yesterday. Australian police are treating this as a terrorism-related incident since the Islamic State has also claimed responsibility for the attack. The culprit was a 29 year old Somalian man named Yacqub Khayre. Police are still going through the materials seized to confirm if this is indeed related to terrrorism.

WORM FOUND IN SQ227 INFLIGHT MEAL FROM S'PORE TO MELBOURNE

I used to like Singapore Airlines until today. The crew apologize and said they submitted a complain to the catering company. But a WORM in my MEAL is unnaceptable! SQ227 Singapore to Melbourne this morning. I'll keep posting until someone gives me a solution.... Now i have stomach cramps and felt ill at landing.

MALAYSIAN AIRLINES PLANE MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING IN MELBOURNE

Malaysian Airlines flight MH148 had just taken off from an airport in Melbourne when "engine fire" forced the plane to do a U-turn nd return to the airport. Ground control was on standby with fire engines on site, but thankfully the plane managed a safe landing at about 3PM local time.
