OPPORTUNISTIC LAWRENCE KHONG, LEADER OF WEAR WHITE CAMPAIGN SAYS "PRAY FOR ORLANDO"

Sorry but you don't get to pray for us Lawrence Khong. Your systematic hate campaign against the the LGBT Community in Singapore is well documented and disqualifies you from doing so.

Apart from your persistent sermons from the pulpit, we remember how you ambushed Mr Goh Chok Tong in 2013, demanding that his government defended S377a. In 2014, you published an astroturfing guide on how to retain S377a, a leaked seven-page document teaching people how to write to Ministers to keep Section 377A. This was was followed in 2015 by your collaborating with the We Will Wear White Campaign, which you proudly made your own in 2016.

How opportunistic of you to claim now that you are praying for Orlando!? If you are recanting, we need an apology. If not, your hypocrisy makes us want to vomit!!

FCBC PASTOR: CHRISTIANS SHOULDN'T JUDGE LGBT PEOPLE FOR THEIR SINS, WE ARE ALL SINNERS

My heart was deeply grieved by the ruthless terrorist killing in Orlando. A chilling report portrayed the sense of finality and hopelessness in the crime scene. Bodies of over forty people were strewn all over the floor. This may deepen the wounds of rejection within the community and if any of us Christians feel that they deserve to die because of their sin, we must think again. The Bible tells us that ALL of us deserve to die because of our sins. There is no reason for further alienation. Instead, this is a time for compassion, love, and healing.

CHURCH PASTOR: WE WILL PUSH BACK AGAINST LGBT & THOSE PROMOTING HOMOSEXUALITY IN S'PORE

It is a message to our Government that we fully support its pro-Family policies. We reinforce the important role of Family in nation-building. Guó Jiā. Guó means country. Jiā means family. The Family is the basic building block of society. As the Family goes, so goes society, so goes the nation. We pledge to work with our government to build a Family of Nation-Builders and a Nation of Family-Builders.

LAWRENCE KHONG: LET'S AIM TO CONVERT ONE S'POREAN TO CHRIST EVERY HOUR

We will become Missionaries for a Day. A missionary is defined as one who crosses cultural and relational barriers to tell others about Jesus. Through this project, I would like all of you in FCBC to have a similar experience. Each team will hit the streets, parks, beaches, and even void decks for three hours to speak to as many people as possible. Our goal is for each team to see at least three persons pray to receive Christ within a span of three hours.

THOUSANDS OF CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS TO WEAR WHITE IN OPPOSITION TO PINK DOT

Christians will be dressed in white this weekend for their church services in support of the traditional family unit, a move that many see as a statement of opposition to the gay-rights themed annual Pink Dot, which takes place tomorrow. A group of Muslims will likewise wear white when they go to the mosques next week for Ramadan prayers.

CHURCH RETRACTS LEGAL CHALLENGE AGAINST MOM OVER PREGNANT STAFF'S DISMISSAL BENEFITS

A church that took the Manpower Ministry (MOM) to the High Court over the sacking of a pregnant female staff has backed down. The Faith Community Baptist Church (FCBC) said in a statement on Monday that it is dropping the High Court legal review because it now accepts the Manpower Minister's decision.

ANTI-GAY & PRO-LGBT ACTIVISTS SHOULD CO-EXIST IN SINGAPORE

But, at the same time I do not violently reject Lawrence Khong, nor do I try to block his every initiative online by trying a fit on social media, because he is free to carry out his activities within certain rules of our democratic society. If one day, IKEA was to promote a musical or a play written by a gay/lesbian, should the conservative Christians likewise attack them on social media? Let’s be more mature, civil and not resort to cyber militancy.

WE DO NOT WANT CONFRONTATIONAL LGBT ACTIVISM IN SINGAPORE

Much as I disagree with Khong's beliefs, we do not want the divisive Western culture wars to start in Singapore. As a society that values social harmony, there are better ways to ensure LGBTs do not get discriminated than the confrontational approaches that have divided American society. We will find our own way. And it shall not be the destructive way that foreign lobby groups and their local stooges favour.

LGBT ACTIVISTS HOUNDING IKEA EQUALLY INTOLERANT OF DIVERSITY

In this case, IKEA incorporated Mr Khong’s magic show as part of its loyalty programme of discounted rates for members. That, it seems, is enough to rile the LGBT activists who show themselves to be as intolerant of other people’s views as they say other people are of theirs. Does the community intend to hound Mr Khong’s magic show wherever he goes – and will corporate sponsors pull back because they don’t want any heat from the vocal lobby?

IKEA RECONSIDERING SUPPORT FOR ANTI-GAY PASTOR MAGIC SHOW

IKEA Singapore said today that it is reconsidering its support for a magic show staged by senior pastor Lawrence Khong who is an outspoken critic against homosexuals. Gay rights groups had protested a move by the company to lend support to the show after an advertisement showed that the retailer's membership programme, Ikea Family, is one of the supporters of Khong's magic show in July.
