CHEE SOON JUAN: OUR STATE OF SOCIETY IS HEARTBREAKING BUT YOUTHS CAN BRING ABOUT CHANGE

SDP's Chee Soon Juan weighed in on censorship and democracy in Singapore after having watched a play. He claimed there's no freedom of speech here and hoped these youths can at least bring about change in future.

Our reader who is a resident of Marsiling-Yew Tee finds it undemocratic for the ruling party to play around with the Constitution and have Mdm Halimah Yacob quit the party in order to run for the Presidential election. She said this is not what the residents have voted for and hopes opposition politicians can do something about this.
