Former National Solidarity Party Secretary General Lim Tean does not accept Macpherson RC's explanation for selling cheaper open house tickets to new citizens. He said Grassroots leaders should have been aware of the sensitivity and demanded for Singaporeans to be treated equally.

UK SURVEY: TAXI FARES IN SG THE 20TH CHEAPEST IN THE WORLD!

According to a survey by UK-based car dealer Carspring, taxi fares in Singapore are actually the 20th cheapest in the world. The survey supposedly took into account many factors such as the cost to hail a taxi, to travel from city centre to the airport, and cost per km. Do you think it's accurate? If it's really that cheap we wouldn't have to tahan train delays everyday.

SG HAZE: HOW TO CHEAPLY CONVERT YOUR AIRCON INTO AN AIR PURIFIER

There are many ways for people to beat the haze but the best is to stay indoors with the air-con on and all doors & windows closed as tightly as possible. For less than $30 per air-con unit per year, I’d say that’s VERY cheap! Lastly, for you people who are lazy, you can install the 3M filter OVER the air-con filter so you don’t even need to wash the filter in future.

WHY I WILL NEVER BUY FURNITURE FROM BIG BOX RETAIL MALL EVER AGAIN

Below is a complete chronological history of my purchase experience with BIG BOX, a company that I will most likely never patronize ever again. No matter how cheap or value for money a product, having to go through such hassle and nightmare is truly an unworthy experience

KHAW BOON WAN IS PAP'S BEST MINISTER, START MAKING THINGS RIGHT FOR HDB

I told you right, this is the best minister in the PAP. His thinking at least is thinking. He is the only one who can see the silliness of depriving a Singaporean from buying a HDB flat and living in a HDB flat. Only sick minds can deprive a Singaporean from living in a HDB flat. Now, when would Boon Wan correct this wrongful policy, a crime against our young people? Let’s hope he does not take another 56 man years to make this right. All NSmen paid a heavy price to serve the country, how can they be excluded from buying a HDB flat?

BUY A BATAM WIFE FOR RM2.70, IT IS HASSLE FREE

What can you get for 27 sen? What about RM2.70? Probably a sweet for the former and a can of soft drink for the latter. But it seems one can get a wife for that amount if you know where to look. Malay daily Harian Metro reported that Malaysian men are flocking to Batam, Indonesia, to get extra wives in secret, for between RP1,000 and RP10,000. Such union is what the locals there refer to as “Nikah siri” -- a religious but unregistered marriage not recognised by the Indonesian Marriage Law.
