YAMAHA ISSUED APOLOGY TO PARENT OF AUTISTIC BOY WHO WAS TURNED AWAY

The account from Yamaha Music (Asia) was that its staff member was not aware of Alex’s condition during enrollment, and the teacher learnt of it only when Alex’s grandmother informed him personally during the first lesson. The school apologised for the communication breakdown anyway. Last night, it delivered a letter of apology in person to Mr Lim.

Yamaha has apologised on behalf of its flute teacher for refusing to teach an autistic boy named Alex. It acknowledged that its staff was unprofessional in dealing with the issue but said it was because he/she was "anxious". Is this a good-enough apology?

19 year old Singaporean Ng Teck Ann was found dead at the foot of his Malaysian apartment this morning. The boy was autistic but it is uncertain if it led to suicidal tendencies. Both mother and son had moved to Malaysia 5 years ago and only have each other as the father had passed away. #RIP

I regret to inform you that the Acer PC which arrived on 29 Jun 15 through the scheme, has since broken down as the hard disc malfunctioned. This is particularly disappointing as the special needs children, apart from single unwed mothers are the most ostracised among the Singaporean lot and given the lowest priority along with the budgeting. On the reverse, Emploment Pass Holders, PRs and New Citizens who can't even speak proper English or Malay are given top tier treatment.

As a mother of a severely Autistic child myself, I cannot help but feel the pain Mdm Mary Toh is experiencing right now seeing her son being transferred from one "torture" chamber to another, like how its done in Third World Countries or Islamic States. The PM on the other hand whom I believe has Asperger's Syndrome, should know better and take a firm stand against his advisers and stakeholders on rendering wicked regimen to detractors just to secure their interests.
