PROTEST WAS SUCCESSFUL, SHOWS S'POREANS CAN DEBATE RACE ISSUES PEACEFULLY

Activist Gilbert Goh is happy to have had a peaceful, silent protest even though the topic did have racial connotations. He asked the Government to look at this example and stop being too uptight as Singaporeans are mature enough to handle such topics.

ACTIVIST M RAVI THREATENS TO FILE APPLICATION TO ASK MINISTER K SHANMUGAM TO RESIGN

Activist M Ravi has posted on Facebook stating that he will be taking out an application in the High Court against Minister of Home Affairs and Law, K Shanmugam, for alleged breach in his code of conduct as a law minister. He is demanding Mr Shanmugam resign from his ministerial post within 48 hours, failing which he would file his application in court.

ACTIVIST HAN HUI HUI DEPORTED FOR SPEAKING ON HUMAN RIGHTS

Human rights activist Han Hui Hui has been deported from an undisclosed airport after a long ordeal where she was detained and interrogated by immigration officials. According to activist-writer Leong Sze Hian, Han Hui Hui had been traveling around Asia to give talks on the freedom of expression and freedom of assembly this year.
