Workers' Party MPs Go Extra Mile For Their Residents

Since the Workers' Party (WP) resumed their physical Meet-The-People Sessions (MPS), several social media posts have popped up to show how committed the WP MPs are. These posts pay tribute to the hard work WP MPs put into their jobs.

In one post, the Sengkang GRC MPS with Jamus Lim claims that the Anchorvale session extended beyond 12.30am. There was a netizen who said the Bedok Reservoir MPS, under the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council, lasted till 1.30am.

Sengkang GRC MP Raeesah Khan also did not excuse herself from the MPS duties even though she is currently expecting. Her efforts and achievements did not go unnoticed as a grateful resident presented her with a cake that read "Congrats on 1st MPS ! Youngest MP since 1965".

WP MPs are certainly proving that they are serious about listening and attending to residents' concerns. Even if it means putting in a few extra hours.

One cannot help but wonder how certain politicians insist that the MP position can be a part-time job.
